Samsung Electronics recently unveiled a few flagship devices including the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra. The company also launched its wireless Galaxy Buds + earbuds. Here’s what you need to know about Samsung’s new launches:
- Samsung Galaxy Z Flip: The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip was one of the most awaited smartphones of the year. It has a square-shaped foldable design and features a 6.7-inch OLED screen with a 22:9 aspect ratio. It has an 8GB RAM, in-built storage of 256 GB, and a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The phone also has a “flex mode”, which allows you to open it halfway and use it as a laptop. It’s available at a starting price of $1,380. Buyers are expected to get free access to YouTube Premium.
- Samsung Galaxy S20 Series: As part of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Series, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy S20, Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus, and the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra models. The three phones feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 chips that can support 5G. The S20 and the S20+ come with a 64 MP camera, while the S20 Ultra has a 108 MP camera. The battery capacity of the phones varies slightly, with the S20 being offered with a 4,000 mAh battery, the S20 Plus with a 4,500 mAh battery, and the S20 Ultra with a 5,000 mAh battery. The S20 has a 6.2-inch display, while the S20 and S20 Ultra have a 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch display, respectively. The premium S20 Ultra handset also has an additional expandable memory option of up to 1 TB. Coming to the price, the S20 is offered at $999, the S20 Plus at $1,199, and the S20 Ultra at $1,399.
- Samsung Galaxy Buds +: Along with its new smartphone releases, Samsung also released the updated Galaxy Buds + earphones, which are wireless and provide an 11-hour battery life. They offer a further 11-hour battery life in the carry case that’s provided along with the earphones. The Galaxy Buds + have two speakers and three microphones.
